MY REVIEW: Finally, I do not have to drive 45 minutes into Houston to get great Brazilian food. It is right here in The Woodlands now. I went with some friends on New Year's Eve to check it out and I was glad we did. The food was delicious, the wine list was reasonable and the service was great. Even though the place was packed, we still received plenty of attention from the servers and Gauchos. I highly recommend the House Specialty and the Strawberry Caipirinhas. I will definitely be going back soon!!

MY REVIEW: My family and I have gone to eat here three times already and what we really like about the newly established churrascaria is its very good attention towards us despite all three times we have gone have been full of people. The waiters and churrasqueros have been very well coordinated so they don't bug you at all or leave you unattended.

Something that I don't see often in other steakhouses is the presence of the owner going from table to table establishing short but enjoyable conversations making me and my family feel welcomed. Oh and by the way, from one of our conversations with the owner we found at that he lives right here in The Woodlands, thought it would be nice to share that with you.

I also agree with some of the reviews that Guri Do Sul needs some plants and pictures on the walls, these we hope will be placed in the future since, as I said earlier, it is a new restaurant in The Woodlands community. I personally think it is a perfect spot for the restaurant since it is not far away from the I-45 but not too close. I completely disagree with the cheapthrills review concerning attention and quality of both: salads and meats. Personally I think it would be a waste of time and money spent on transportation to Houston and on an expensive $50 plate while I could get something that exceeds my expectations and right here in The Woodlands with my family for $34 with the same or even better quality than the expensive churrascarias at Houston. In my opinion the cheapthrills critique lacks of good taste and is somewhat indifferent to a good restaurant people in this page find amusing.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I ate here for New Years dinner and loved it! You pay a flat fee per person for all you can eat ($35 each). The filet mignon was excellent. The service is good. My only recommendation would be to warm up the place bit - less lighting, pictures on the walls, plants, etc... With the restaurant being so new this stuff might be in the works. We'll definitely be back to this place.

MY REVIEW:The food here is Superb. This is one of those restaurants where for one flat fee per person you get all you can eat meet and salad bar. The salad bar was beautiful, and my wife kept going back, but aside for some fresh mozzarella cheese and asparagus all I had my eye on was the meat. The meat came out on skewers served by their Gauchos, or meat servers. It all was great, but the flank steak was the beast surprisingly. They had Fillet Mignon, chicken breast covered in bacon, lamb, pork including some great sausage, several types of steak and even salmon which was also delicious. The steak was all, in my opinion, at least as good as what I would expect when I go to some of the real expensive steak houses in The Woodlands. And here I get all I can eat.

I will definitely be returning

MY REVIEW: Fantastic food, wonderful service, limited but delicious salad bar. Desserts are outstanding and beautiful! The rice and beans are not a standard item which is a bit of a mistake, but all you have to do is ask and they will bring you some. Most of the staff speaks Portuguese and is very knowledgeable of what they are serving including the bartenders, who make perfect caipirinhas!

I will be back very soon!
